Pupil Safety

Statement to Parents

At Serlby Park Primary Academy, the welfare of all our pupils is of great importance to us and we hope that parents are confident about their children’s health and safety whilst in our school. We will always try to share any concerns we have with parents.  However, there are times when we are legally obliged to share our concerns with other agencies, without first speaking to parents, or without the consent of parents.

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is: Mrs A Cadman

Our Designated Child Protection team include

Louise Ridge – Head of Primary Academy and DDSL

Lee Goodman – DDSL & Y4 Class Teacher

Internet Safety

The internet is a rapidly changing media that is becoming an increasing part of our daily lives. It provides endless opportunities and access to information, but there are also risks to using the internet and through this page we seek to provide you with information, to keep you informed and up to date. If you have any questions please contact us.

For our E-Safety Policy, please view the Policy page.

Safer Schools App – Free resource

We have access to the Safer Schools app, which allows school staff and parents to keep up to date with the ever changing landscape of the internet. Language, popular apps and trends in internet use change regularly and this allows adults, regardless of their technologic ability or engagement in things such as social media, to keep up to date with the latest information.
